Learn more about benefits at Meta at this link: https://www.metacareers.com/facebook-life/benefits.Duties:Ensure the delivery of a high-quality software and platform for Meta’s Reality Labs product lines. Responsible for building and executing test strategy, and plans, across multiple products and platforms, while working with engineering teams to identify and resolve defects. Work alongside expert software engineers and research scientist to create the technology that makes VR and AR pervasive and accessible to the commercial market. Building a test-driven engineering and development culture that drives improvements in quality. Implementing process changes to scale testing efforts across multiple products. Plan, develop, and execute test coverage for multiple platforms. Identify, test, track and report KPI trends over the course of the projects. Diagnose issues, report defects and propose regression tests to discover reoccurrences. Collaborate with engineers and project leads to triage and prioritize issues for resolution. Own the process of creating metrics to measure and monitor product performance. Partner with Automation Infrastructure team to leverage automation to allow better reliability and scalability.Requirements:Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering or related field and 60 months of experience in the job offered or in a QA Lead-related occupation.Position requires 60 months of experience in the following:1. Debugging software and hardware;2. Working with consumer electronic devices;3. Partnering with cross functional teams and stakeholders;4. Test methodologies, creating test plans, test cases, and debugging;5. Python, JavaScript, Java, C/C++ or equivalent language; and6. Building, shipping and maintaining commercial software.
