The Team:

The implementation consulting – project management team is a global team working with product solutions and engineering teams to successfully deliver client implementations for SP Global's Securities Processing & Corporate Actions solutions.

Responsibilities & Impact:

This role involves managing large product implementations that involve high degree of product development effort and customization.

  • Driving clients and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered according to defined scope, dates and budget.

  • Project management, leadership, dependency management and cross-group collaboration skills with a proven track record of leading complex projects with multiple stakeholders/partners.

  • Ability to engage competently with client at all levels of the organisation, through to CxO level.

  • P&L responsibility for the project.

  • Contribute as required to process improvements, pre-sales and team development initiatives within the team.

Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position for New York location is $ 118,094 to $207,348.50. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.

In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.

Basic Qualification required:

  • Bachelor’s degree & 7+ years of experience in program/project management delivering software products or services, product development in financial services domain OR equivalent experience

  • 3+ years of working in a similar Product & solutions company with exposure to post trade automation business domain OR similar experience.

  • Proven track record of successfully delivering highly complex multi-million dollar projects within the financial services industry.

  • Good written, presentation, and verbal communications skills that can applied across organizational levels

  • Good business knowledge in post trade automation space

  • Excellent client facing skills. A good communicator with strong relationship building skills.

  • Good commercial awareness and governance.

  • Training or understanding of standard project management methodologies e.g. PMI.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent influencer with proven ability to work collaboratively in a matrix organization.

  • 10+ years of experience in program/project management experience in financial services/ solutions vendor organizations OR equivalent experience.

  • Certification in Project/program management (PMP OR equivalent)

  • Flexible and adaptable to project needs and changing priorities. Strong inter-personal skills with practical, can-do approach.

  • Ability to work to strict deadlines and manage own time accordingly.
