The Mount Sinai Health System Program Manager I-Arnhold Institute for Global Health & the Department of Global Health & Health System Design in New York, New York

The Arnhold Institute for Global Health’s Global Strategic Partnership Program Manager in Ghana will serve as the operational and administrative lead for Mount Sinai’s partnership with the Navrongo Research Center, Ghana Health Service, and CK Tedam University in Navrongo, Ghana. They will oversee the implementation and coordination of the strategic priorities for partnership development. In close collaboration with the Faculty Lead for the Ghana Partnership, they will help build successful collaborations to support research, care, and training programs as part of this collaboration.

The Program Manager for the Ghana Partnership will play a critical role in ensuring the success of the Ghana Partnership. They will oversee the implementation and coordination of the Institute and Department’s partnership and program strategies in Ghana and will work closely with the Department and Institute’s Research, Education, and Operations teams to ensure the overall success of our care, education, and research missions in Ghana. They will help ensure the collaborative programs in Ghana have the resources, funding, and operational support needed to build a robust institutional collaboration consistent with our model of partnership.

Reporting to the Faculty Lead for the Ghana Partnership, the program manager will collaborate with Ghanaian partners, program teams, and other key stakeholders to develop and implement strategic plans, grow and strengthen shared infrastructure and institutional capacity, and promote broad collaborative engagements between Mount Sinai faculty and partners in Ghana. They will help build core resources to support the operational, training, and research needs of the partnership and provide a collaborative platform that supports and facilitates productive collaboration between our faculty and partners in Ghana. They will coordinate with the Institute and the Department’s communications team to develop effective communication strategies and materials to engage donors and other program sponsors, building support for the Ghana Partnership. The Program Manager will represent the Institute and Department with our internal and external partners and help build support and engagement in the Ghana Partnership. They will also help ensure collaboration and communication among Department and Institute teams. They will lead in managing emergency response planning for the Ghana Partnership and play a primary role in coordinating and managing emergency response.
