BaubleBar Product Development Manager - Hybrid NYC in New York, New York

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

BaubleBar is currently seeking a Product Development Manger to join our team. You will be responsible for coordinating and maintaining the day-to-day development procedures for both current and new accessory items, under the direction of the Product Development Director. The Product Development Manager works with the Product Development team to learn the entire product development process from initial design through prototype development and bulk production. As our PD Manager you will have the opportunity to collaborate with merchandising, design, sourcing as well as production, and communicate with our factories on a daily basis.

WHAT WE WANT YOU TO DO:

  • Be responsible for meeting design, function and quality goals of all accessory products

  • Establish strong working relationships with cross-functional divisional teams to ensure product success

  • Collect and monitor the development and production schedules, ensuring individual and team calendar deadlines are met

  • Support the Product Development Director in cost engineering and margin management

  • Constantly evaluate and support evolution of the product development process through education of development team and process change

  • Bring a high level of creativity, attention to detail and efficiency while working under tight deadlines and on multiple projects simultaneously

  • Be enthusiastic about expanding your skill set and working on a broad range of projects

  • Stay knowledgeable about industry standards and trends

  • Work onsite in our Manhattan office 3-5 days per week

WHAT WE WANT TO SEE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising or related degree preferred

  • 4+ years experience of accessories, apparel and/or jewelry product development experience required

  • Thorough understanding of the design & development process from inception through production

  • An expert in accessory and apparel construction/manufacturing, textiles, prints and factory best practices and capabilities

  • Ability to take initiative, multi-task, proactively troubleshoot and problem solve in a fast-paced setting

  • Someone who truly LOVES creating amazing products at the right price and whose passion is evident in their work
