We are currently seeking an Outreach & Enrollment Specialist to work in our Manhattan location.
Position Summary: The Outreach and Enrollment Specialist will be responsible for outreach, education and health insurance enrollment for individuals and families through the New York Health State of Health (NYSOH), and other minimum client program benefits, such as Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). The Outreach and Enrollment Specialist will create community collaborations focused on health and providing access to health.
Qualifications: High School diploma/GED with 4 years of working experience required. Some college education with 2 year of working experience preferred; Strong socio-cultural identification with the target population or experience in working with target population required; Must be certified as certified enroller within one month of hire; Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English required; Independent and good team player; Good attention to detail; Fluency in one or more South Asian languages or Spanish preferred; Ability to work well with diverse population; Ability to handle multiple tasks and stressful environment; Ability to work well within the organizational structure; Ability to work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends; • Ability to use common office software. (Word, Excel, Power Point).
