ManpowerGroup Mobile Device Administrator in New York, New York

The Mobile Device Administrator- On site 95k-115k

Provides technical support and oversees the implementation of the firm's mobile computing technologies for enterprise clients. Responsibilities include managing the firm's mobile computing environment, ensuring optimal hardware and software performance for all end-users. The Mobile Device Administrator deploys, manages, tracks, and audits mobile devices and related accessories. The role provides onsite, desk-side, and phone technical support to firm attorneys and staff for resolving mobility-related issues.

Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Offer expertise and guidance in crafting and refining mobile solutions (e.g., tablets, smartphones) to optimize performance and accessibility.

  • Monitor, track, and manage incidents and service requests through Service Now to uphold incident and problem management procedures.

  • Provide end-user support, training, and issue resolution for mobile devices.

  • Act as a subject matter expert and technical resource.

  • Collaborate with the Mobility Supervisor, Mobile Device Coordinator, IT Security, IT Infrastructure, and IT Management, this position supports the firm's mobility solutions and any related initiatives.

  • Resolve wireless connectivity issues for mobile devices by collaborating with relevant vendors to troubleshoot wireless infrastructures and ensure optimal user experience.

  • Available during evenings and weekends to both end users and HelpDesk personnel experiencing specific mobility related challenges with their devices or service providers.

  • Deploy enterprise applications for mobile devices, managing mobile device management systems and encryption systems.

  • Test and deploy updates and fixes for supported mobile devices, including operating system and application upgrades.

  • Develop, maintain, and enforce mobile security and device management policies, conducting regular security audits to ensure compliance with standards.

  • Research new mobile solutions and enhancements, evaluating their impact on existing strategies and potential benefits for the mobile device environment.

  • Assess and test smartphones, tablets, and other mobile devices and applications to ensure alignment with firm needs and supportability within the environment.

  • Additional duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • Proficient computer skills.

  • Required technical troubleshooting expertise with iOS and Android devices (smartphones, tablets, etc.)

  • Comprehensive understanding of mobile device troubleshooting methods, encompassing both client and server-side.

  • Experience with:

  • Exchange ActiveSync and iOS devices.

  • Advanced management of AirWatch & Intune.

  • Deployment of enterprise applications for iOS & Android devices.

  • Mobile Device Management via AirWatch/Intune (MDM).

  • Configuration of Virtual Private Network (VPN).

  • Setup of wireless network (Wi-Fi).

  • Support and troubleshooting for Tablets and Smartphones within an Enterprise environment.

  • Administration proficiency with Enterprise ActiveSync Monitoring, AirWatch & Intune.

  • Maintenance of inventory and tracking of mobile devices.

  • Knowledge of AT&T Premier, Verizon Business, T-Mobile, Outfitter Satellite, ServiceNow, Duo, Coupa, HID Global, Apple Business Manager, and Go Exceed.

  • Strong analytical and investigation skills, along with a structured approach to problem-solving.

  • Capacity to exercise independent judgment and critical thinking.

Education and Experience:

  • Associate's degree from a two-year college or technical school (or higher) preferred or equivalent work experience.

  • Minimum five years of IT experience.

  • Law firm experience a plus.
