1199SEIU Health and Human Services Employment Center Mental Health Tech (F/T & P/T) in New York, New York
Provide counseling services in a community setting to patients and their families who are mentally ill or at risk. Core responsibilities includes: the ability to provide to individual and or family counseling under the supervision of a professionally credentialed staff member, working with referring agencies to implement a service plan and obtaining additional information from patient and resource for assessment and formulation of the service plan. HS Diploma/GED required. Bachelor's Degree preferred. EKG & Phlebotomy required. Current BLS certificate required. 1 year minimum Behavioral Health experience is required.
Position may be full-time or part-time and temporary or permanent, depending on need of facility. Weekend work may be required.
After one (1) year of employment, may be eligible to apply for our Education Program, to move on with your career in healthcare.
Salary: Starting salary is approximately $17.00-$20.00 per hr.
Job Location: Positions available within the five boroughs of NYC.
