Consultant, Regulatory Solutions, Customer Delivery for Adenza Inc. (f/k/a Calypso Technology, Inc.) in New York, NY, to Analyze financial regulatory requirements and their impact on our clients. Understand business requirements and functional specification requirements of the scope of work. Configure solutions to the regulatory and risk requirements in the company proprietary software. Interface directly with clients to understand their unique needs and the structure of their data and information systems to tailor the company’s solution to each specific case. Take on additional responsibilities to assist the lead implementation and development teams. Prepare Federal Reserve Reporting for a Banking Institution such as: FR 2900 - Deposit and Vault Cash; FR 2644 - Selected Assets and Liabilities; FFIEC 002 - Call Report Assets and Liabilities of US Branches and Agencies of Foreign Banks; FFIEC 019 - Country exposure of foreign banks; FRY 9C - Consolidated Financial Statements for Bank Holding Companies; FFIEC 009 - Country Exposure Report; FFIEC 031 - Consolidated Reports of Condition and Income for a Bank with Domestic and Foreign Offices. Requires: Master’s degree in Financial Engineering, Computational Finance, Computer Engineering, or a related quantitative financial field (or a foreign education equivalent) plus two (2) years of experience as an Implementation specialist or related occupation working directly with clients in financial Regulatory requirements. Specific skills/other requirements - Must also possess the following: Leveraging at least three of the following financial instruments and corresponding regulatory requirements: Interest Rate Derivatives, Equity Derivatives, Commodities, Credit Derivatives, Treasury, Fixed Income, or FX and FX Options to analyze financial regulation requirements; Configuring and implementing Fintech software using Oracle, MySQL databases, Python, conducting data-driven testing, and writing SQL queries; Performing Federal Reserve Regulatory Reporting using financial statements, accounting, and General Ledger systems including reading and understanding balance sheet, income statements under accounting standards like US GAAP, GAAP, and IFRS, understanding journal entries, daily operations and month-end close procedures and analysis for General Ledger systems; Implementing and configuring Fintech Software, synthesizing large volumes of datasets, comparing available solutions, drawing logical conclusions, and communicating findings; and Utilizing basic functions, data validation, pivot tables, index/match, indirect, and advanced conditional formatting in Microsoft Excel to prepare regulatory reports.
