SLSCO LTD Construction Coordinator in New York, New York

SLSCO LP is seeking a New York City-based Construction Coordinator. The Construction Coordinator will support the operations of a Design-Build program in Staten Island, NY. The Construction Coordinator will report directly to the project executive on-site on a daily basis and with Construction Management personnel. The ideal candidate will lead administrative tasks and maintain accurate project documentation. This role requires an individual with strong organizational and communication skills.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to ensure effective operations for construction assignments.
  • Create and manage daily reports for on-site construction activities.
  • Create, maintain, and upload daily sign-in and sign-out sheets for contractors on-site.
  • Schedule meetings, site visits, and inspections as required.
  • Maintain and update project databases, including data entry and uploads related to program documentation.
  • Serve as an on-site point of contact for internal teams.
  • Generate and distribute progress reports and updates for program management.

Qualifications:

  • Two (2) years of experience as a project coordinator, administrative assistant, or similar role in the construction industry or a related industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of construction processes, terminology, and documentation is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Demands:

  • Use of manual dexterity, tactile, visual, and audio acuity.
  • Use of repetitive motion, prolonged periods of sitting and standing, and sustained visual and mental applications and demands.
  • Occasional lifting (up to 15 pounds), bending, pulling, and carrying.

Minimum Salary: 60000.00 Maximum Salary: 70000.00 Salary Unit: Yearly
