Communications Lead for Citi Wealth Investments
About the Team
Enterprise Services and Public Affairs (ESPA) seeks to enhance and protect the reputation of Citi, its businesses and the brand through direct and indirect communication with Citi's various stakeholders, including our colleagues. Corporate Communications is a nimble team in ESPA that covers a broad scope of responsibilities, including executive communications, public engagements, corporate reputation programs as well as communications supporting our lines of business. The nature of the work provides a dynamic environment where members of the team serve as company spokespeople to media, drive engagement with colleagues and develop external and internal digital communications for a global workforce of more than 200,000 colleagues. Within Citi, the team works with many internal partners, including senior leadership, and regularly coordinates closely with other members of ESPA across the world.
About the Role
The Communications Lead for Citi Wealth Investments is a key member of the Citi Wealth communications team within ESPA. You will work with senior leadership and partners throughout Citi Wealth and ESPA to drive increased awareness of Citi’s Wealth Investments offering, platforms and views both externally and within Citi. This role reports to the Head of Citi Wealth Communications
Responsibilities:
Work with the CIO and Heads of Investment Solutions, Digital Assets, Sustainable Investing, Alternatives and Citi Investment Management to create a comprehensive narrative around Citi Wealth’s investment platforms and insights for both internal and external audiences
Create comprehensive media strategy for leadership, as well as Investments content and research
Partner with Investments team on a strategy to effectively disseminate content to Citi colleagues
Proactively work with media each week to ensure Investments market analysis is considered
Partner with Investments leadership on social media strategy for content
Work with full Citi Wealth communications team to ensure Investments aligns with and supports the broader communications goals
Partner closely with communications leadership and teams to inform and advise on both ongoing communications work and areas of opportunity
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing or another related field
Knowledge of communications or marketing and at least 10 years of increased responsibility, preferably with a large and complex organization
Knowledge of financial markets
Strong relationships with broadcast and print media
Skilled in planning, organizing, prioritizing and executing simultaneous projects and activities
Comfortable working in a fast-paced corporate environment with sensitive information
Takes initiative, anticipates next steps and sets high standards in all he/she does
Strong relationship management skills and experience working with stakeholders cross-functionally and globally
Creative, thoughtful approach to work product and regularly brings forward new ideas
Experience managing third-party agency relationships
Persuasive when presenting to larger groups or in regular meetings, both internally and externally
Exceptional attention to detail
Integrity, maturity, dependability and a positive professional attitude

$163,600.00 - $245,400.00
Salary shown is for full-time positions and will be prorated for part-time hires based on number of hours worked.
The hourly rate corresponding to the annual range is:
$78.65 - $117.98
