Description

We are offering an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in New York. This role primarily revolves around managing and processing accounts payable in the real estate industry. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using MRI software and will be adept at handling various financial transactions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Handle and process accounts payable efficiently

• Utilize real estate accounting software for various accounting tasks

• Ensure accurate records of all transactions are maintained

• Resolve any discrepancies or issues in accounts payable

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth financial operations

• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and updates

• Handle confidential information with discretion

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports

• Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations

• Manage and resolve any customer inquiries related to accounts payable.

Requirements

• Applicant must have at least 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable Specialist role or similar position.

• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

• Proven experience in processing accounts payable transactions is required.

• The successful candidate must have strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary.

• The candidate must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is needed.

• Experience in a team-oriented workplace is preferred.

• The candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is advantageous.

• Knowledge of general accounting principles is expected.

• The candidate should be capable of managing multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously.

• Problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative are important.

• The candidate should have proven experience in data entry and management.

• Familiarity with financial software and systems is desired.
