Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager 3 for Yale New Haven Health System, York Street in New Haven, CT.

Must have prior food operations, union management experience in a high-volume healthcare setting.

The Food Operations Manager 3 at this location will report to the Client Executive I, oversee patient service operations and be responsible for menu development, diet office operations, operational excellence, KPI attainment, client and Sodexo budget adherence, management of frontline staff, c-suite relationships at the local hospital and health system level, and overall coordination and delivery of Sodexo's patient service programs and high standards for this prestigious client organization. This role interacts frequently with Patient Experience Managers and is responsible for ensuring high level patient satisfaction and experiences.

The successful candidate will:

• evaluate and develop service levels for the overall Patient Services Program targeted to exceed patient and customer satisfaction;

• oversee Sodexo’s Patient Dining Program and daily meal rounding inclusive of service recovery;

• collaborate with clinical, food service and interdisciplinary teams to enhance the patient experience;

• perform tray assessments to ensure food quality and presentation and tray accuracy;

• exceed Sodexo standards for Gold Checks and achieve successful regulatory inspections and audits; and/or

• perform management functions that include direct supervision of hourly associates including employee development.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 3 years

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
