Posting Summary | The Faculty Scholars Program is pleased to offer an innovative program to graduating residents and obstetrician/gynecologists who would like to strengthen their teaching, research and clinical skills for future leadership roles in academic medicine. The program is geared to clinicians who want to enrich their research and clinical experiences before applying to subspecialty fellowship programs or pursuing academic global health endeavors. The mission of the academic scholar's program is to promote the next generation of national academic leaders in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology and/or Global Health through comprehensive mentorship and career development. The scholars program is unique based on the fostering of a collaborative environment between the scholars and experienced clinical and basic science faculty with successful academic track records in research. By this collaboration, the goal of the program is to strengthen the candidate's academic foundation by providing basic science and clinical research opportunities, clinical and surgical mentorship, and professional development.
