DATTCO's Accelerated Property Management (APM) division currently has an opening for a full-time or part-time Horticulturist. This position is primarily responsible for maintaining a private client-s estate of approximately 15 acres.
DATTCO is a third-generation, family-owned transportation company with over 1,900 employees in New England. The APM division provides property management services including landscaping, facilities management and construction to DATTCO divisions, as well as external customers. Primary Responsibilities:
Gardening duties including weeding, planting, pruning, mulching and mowing
Ensure equipment is maintained
Respect safety standards of the company and maintain a clean work environment
Ability to work unsupervised and with other team members
Maintain good communications with the client
Minimum Requirements:
College degree in horticulture or related field
Experience in building and grounds maintenance
Experience with commercial mowing equipment
Valid driver-s license
Excellent communication skills
Ability to manage and organize priorities
