The HR business partner supports the business from a local perspective. By understanding the business needs, the HRBP will be a strategic thought partner around all people-related topics. This role will collaborate and support their business leaders' client groups in strategic planning and act as local HR partner in transformation processes. Ensures the implementation of HR standards, policies, and processes and coordinates the execution of HR core processes on a local level.

  • Implements people and organization strategy topics in the assigned client groups Implements HR standards, policies, and processes in the assigned client groups
  • Is responsible for executing HR core processes in the respective location (partners with business leaders to attract, retain, develop, and motivate people to achieve their fullest potential)
  • Implements organizational development processes and supports change management in the assigned client groups respective location
  • Supports HR projects (on global, regional and local level)
  • Consults business leaders on HR related matters, policies and procedures
  • By partnering with management team provides strategic as well as day-to-day HR support for assigned client groups
  • Reviews talent opportunities and performance gaps; participates in talent planning, talent reviews, talent development, and succession planning for assigned client groups.
  • Monitors KPIs and employee input looking for trends and making recommendations to business leaders
  • Protects interests of employees and the company in accordance with company policies and governmental laws and regulations.
  • Works closely with People Partner on individual topics such as complex employee investigations and workers' compensation claims
  • Collaborates with Centers of Excellence to deliver solutions in support of business objectives (recommend this statement in place of Partners with and Centers of Excellence if needed and acts as a point of contact and liaison with clients to deliver full HR services)
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Your profile

  • Bachelors degree (Human Resources or business related field) - Required
  • Certification (SPHR or other HR Certification) - Preferred
  • 7-10 Years of Experience (Human Resources experience) - Required
  • Solid understanding and experience of human resources core processes
  • Strong business acumen; solid understanding of business processes, requirements and challenges
  • Deep understanding and experience in developing people solutions to support business objectives
  • In-depth knowledge and application of federal and state employment and labor laws including LOAs.
  • Effective influencing, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to establish strong relationships and partner successfully with HR colleagues and client groups.
  • Possesses profound knowledge and experiences with project and change management
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Multiple Site and State experience.
  • Experience working in Matrix environment.
  • Demonstrated written/verbal communications and presentation skills.
  • Must be available to work onsite in New Bern, NC
  • Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates
  • Travel Percentage - 10%

Your Pay and Benefits The pay range posted for this position is based on the location noted in the posting title. Exact compensation offered may vary based onyourspecific skillset and work location. If the position is bonus or incentive eligible then the payments range from 0% to 200% of target with details laid out within the plan document.
