Position Summary/Description:
The Department of Linguistics is recruiting for a tenure-track, Assistant Professor of Hispanic Linguistics or Sociolinguistics. This position carries our regular teaching load for faculty with an active research agenda of two courses per semester, with a possible share of undergraduate honors theses and M.A. theses. Teaching is a shared responsibility as part of our mission as the flagship institution, and we are known across the University for offering exceptional teaching.
