What You’ll Do

• Responsible to oversee technical requirement of Cloud Network & Datacenter operations , reviewing on going operations & rectifying the issues.

• Responsible to work on Technical Escalations, technical trainings, Smooth operations.

• Organize teams, distribute work and monitor progress, quality assurance, and performance, in a multidisciplinary team environment.

• Managing Cloud network solutions, Network components & Network connectivity as per Target architecture and customer standards to meet connectivity requirements of Teradata customers.

• Manage, Operate and Support 24x7 AWS environments for multiple customers.

• Candidate will be taking care of network performance, availability, utilization, throughput, and latency. Wil also be responsible for defining network policies and procedures; establishing connections and firewalls (Palo Alto, F5 , ACI, Cisco Route & switches ).

• Perform a wide range of cloud administration duties on core infrastructure, application, all 3 Cloud Provider network troubleshooting, security, data protection and optimization.

• Candidate will be directly working with customers to make sure network is stable, performance is good & they are getting good throughput.

Who You’ll Work With

• Managed Cloud Network team is responsible to take care of Teradata Cloud Customers Network, we manage complete network infrastructure & network components & keep overall infrastructure healthy.

• This team is responsible to take care of Public Cloud , Private Cloud & Teradata datacenter operations.

• This position will directly report to Cloud Ops Manager.

What Makes You a Qualified Candidate

• 8+ years of extensive hands-on cloud networking and troubleshooting experience in large, distributed products of experience working in Public Cloud and Cloud Networking.

• Should have CCNA & one Cloud Associate level certification (AWS /Azure/ GCP).

• Good understanding of OSI Model, TCP/IP Suite & network troubleshooting skills are expected.

• Extensive knowledge of basic cloud networking for example TCP/IP, VLAN/VXLAN, VRF, QoS, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP as well as MPLS connectivity/architecture.

• Deep working knowledge of networking technologies including Layer-2,Layer-3 protocols, routing and switching products. ,BGP, MPLS, STP, RSVP-TE.

• Basic Understand & Knowledge of Load balancer , Network Firewall, DNS, Network monitoring tools, Wireshark/Packet Capture tools is good to have.

• Handson experience in Cloud Network connectivity like Hub & Spoke technologies, Virtual Network Gateways, VPN, Direct Connect , Vnet Peering & Private link , VPC peering ,express route, transit gateway.

• Thorough understanding of Cloud Computing: virtualization technologies, Infrastructure as a Service, Platform as a Service and Software as a Service Cloud delivery models and the current competitive landscape

What You’ll Bring

• Good organizational and time management skills to work on multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.

• Good experience working in a Support/Technical Assistance Centre (TAC) team.

• Knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS along with Private, Public and Hybrid Cloud technologies

• Experience in deploying and implementing scalable cloud-based solution architectures for PaaS, IaaS or SaaS with Azure cloud technologies. Ability to work in collaboration with product

• development engineering teams.

• Should have good exposure to establishing architecture strategies, processes, standards & governance policies on Cloud Environment and implementation of the same.

• A passion for improving processes and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

• Strong analytical & problem-solving skills, Strategic thinker, ability to see big picture and develop roadmaps.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to lead and mentor.

• Results oriented team player who will work towards meeting team commitments and ability to work within a cross-functional team.

• Strong understanding of IT production environments, operational strategies and mission critical systems to include IT internal controls and regulatory compliance.
