CACI is seeking a Senior ServiceNow developer to develop highly complex, mission-critical scoped and global applications for the Federal Protective Service (FPS).

As a Sr. ServiceNow Developer, you will be part of a development team working alongside other ServiceNow Developers, Administrators and Architects. You’ll be creating workflows, configuring modules, and designing applications for various parts of the platform for multiple DHS tenants. As the ideal candidate, you will be able to think critically in solving urgent mission issues, focusing on supporting the development of ITBM and ITSM.

The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly both written and orally, and present products and ideas in a business-like manner. The candidate will be required to work in dynamic fast paced environments that require team interaction and coordination of efforts.

The candidate must be experienced in interfacing with both contractors and government employees. The Service Now developer will be competent in CMDB data management, integrations, troubleshooting, reporting and dashboards.

The candidate should speak well in front of an audience and be able to present briefs to high-ranking government personnel and be able to provide whiteboard sessions and presentations to personnel in a clear, concise but comprehensive manner.

About the Role:

  • Actively participate in agile daily scrums and ceremonies, updating stories daily in SNOW documenting development progress and collaborating across platform teams

  • Develop, maintain and enhance applications on the ServiceNow platform includes, but not limited to, ITSM, ITOM and scoped applications.

  • You will be responsible for helping to develop code, unit test, hold code reviews, check in code and help to build the code pipeline for continuous integration/continuous delivery.

  • Customize ServiceNow applications and facilitate roll out of new applications and modules and configure application UI, workflow, and API

  • Design, create and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts and ACLs including advanced scripting of each

  • Support in the development of use cases and testing procedures, ensuring product functionality, debugging and testing is completed prior to production deployment

  • Create and maintain system design and operations documentation

  • Develop process documentation, testing, workflows, and work plans

  • Coordinate with multiple departments within and outside of the customer’s organization to accomplish project tasks

  • Independent self-starter and proactive at developing solutions and solving business problems using ServiceNow

  • Ensure all development is created in alignment with ServiceNow Technical Best Practices

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to obtain Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Entry On Duty (EOD) - Active EOD preferred

  • BA/BS + 18 years’ applicable experience or MA/MS + 10 years applicable experience

  • 1 or more active ServiceNow certifications

  • Experience with ITBM, specifically PPM

  • Extensive understanding of the ways in which ServiceNow can be configured and customized and scripting within the tool

  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems through SOAP or REST web services

  • Experience with C#, Java, Node.js, Python, Go, and Ruby programming languages.

  • Experience in scrum and agile frameworks for development to include task management, performing stand-ups and sprint reviews, gathering requirements, and creating documentation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with some or all of the following:

  • Service Now

  • JIRA

  • Confluence

  • Experience with non-Microsoft SQL data platforms

  • ITIL v4 - Foundation

  • Previous DHS or DoD experience

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$95,500-$210,100
