About the role
Reporting to the Company's Financial Controller, an exciting opportunity exists for an IT Site Officer
to join the Syrah team based in Vidalia, Louisiana. This role is responsible for a wide array of technical knowledge by providing needed solutions for the site, troubleshooting technical issues sent to ticketing system, and effectively communicating with team members.
Key role responsibilities include:
- Responding and solving to tickets in IT Ticketing system
- Troubleshooting network issues
- Designing and maintaining network infrastructure
- Setting up new hardware and users
- Installing software needed for different departments
- Providing needed access to users through SharePoint and security groups
- Providing support for various systems (Payroll/TA, Badge/Camera, ERP)
- Monitoring Threat detections and remediation
Patching for various devices
Desirable skills and experience include:
- 3-5 years' experience supporting an enterprise level environment
- Windows OS/Windows Server OS
- Microsoft Active Directory, MS Azure
- Microsoft O365 Admin/Suite
- Printers
- Troubleshooting/Problem Solving
- Ethernet termination.
- Effective Communication
- Team player in global IT team
- Broad knowledge of physical layer networking
- Unifi and FortiGate experience are a plus.
- Fiber Optic splicing a plus
