Key job responsibilities

  • Developing operational and execution strategy for Customs Brokerage activities in the U.S.

  • Driving strategic import initiatives (planning, automation, optimization), collaborating across functions to pinpoint key areas of opportunity.

  • Creating and refining metrics to gauge performance and spot defects and trends, collaborating across functions to deliver top-notch quality, performance, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.

  • Steering the standardization of operational procedures; collaborating with operations, finance, data, and product partners to construct repeatable and predictable structures in areas of ambiguity, enhancing consistency and reliability of operational performance.

  • Connecting policies, standard operating procedures, internal controls, monitoring, and reporting with operational and compliance improvement.

  • Streamlining communication and disseminating change information among stakeholders and operations teams in different geographies to prevent isolated work streams.

  • Leveraging Customs subject matter expertise to drive overall business outputs

  • Identifying and implementing mechanisms and solutions for continuous improvement.

  • Collaborating with technology, product management, legal, human resources, business intelligence, and other crucial stakeholder groups.

  • The Senior Program Manager must be a adept communicator, highly collaborative, and capable of working effectively across various organizational levels and geographies.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field

  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Master's degree

  • Customs Brokerage Experience, CBL
