We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Support Representative to join our insurance team. As a Support Representative, you will administrate insurance processes with meticulous attention to detail. Your responsibilities will include direct client interaction, review of legal documentation, reviewing payments information, ensuring approvals are in place, and maintaining accurate information for customers profiles.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide exceptional service to customers through various communication channels such as letters, telephone calls, and emails, addressing moderately complex inquiries related to annuities, insurance, financial products, and benefits.

  • Ensure accurate entry of customer information to prevent transaction errors.

  • Research and respond promptly to complex customer inquiries regarding policy details, provisions, values, and procedures.

  • Maintain updated account history and documentation within administrative and workflow imaging systems.

  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail for multiple clients in adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

  • Conduct data entry, detailed research, and document review to keep accounts and files up to date with accurate information.

  • Process transactions and escalate requests for policy modifications as needed.

  • Efficiently navigate multiple electronic systems to provide comprehensive responses.

  • Collaborate with team members, management, customers, and clients on customer service requests and projects.

  • Review client reports, ensuring data integrity, and provide reports to management as scheduled.

  • Recommend modifications to procedures and workflows for efficient processing of transactions.

  • Monitor daily transactions to ensure compliance with policy provisions, procedures, and SLAs.

  • Assist team members, support staff, management, and clients with questions and research related to processing guidelines, policy details, and provisions.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High attention to detail with the ability to review legal and financial information accurately to avoid critical process errors.

  • Strong decision-making skills to determine when to take action independently or escalate situations to minimize operational risks.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Strong multitasking abilities.

  • Capability to execute daily tasks autonomously with minimal supervision.

  • Prior customer service or telephone experience.

  • Familiarity with organizational functions and personnel.

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.

Other Qualifications:

  • Exceptional business and analytical problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficient in computer operations.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Strong ability to follow written and verbal directions.

  • Innovative thinking for generating process improvements.

  • Quick learner with a willingness to gain functional knowledge of company products, administrative systems, and imaging systems.

Work Environment:

  • Remote position within the USA.

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST.

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $42,000 - $78,000.

Full-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.
