Practice Focus:Accenture is focused on assisting our Health clients to migrate and run their EMR in the Cloud. We are searching for a talented and experienced Epic Client System Administrator (ECSA) to join us and participate in the day-to-day support and maintenance of the Epic EMR.

You Are: The Epic Client Systems Administrator (ECSA) will be responsible for ongoing maintenance of Epic Client Systems components in a live/existing Epic instance.

The Work:The Epic Client Systems Engineer will focus on managing and maintaining the Epic Windows Server infrastructure using Kuiper, and System Pulse.

  • Provide management and support for technical perspective of the Interconnect, Hyperspace, EPS, Web BLOB, Hyperspace Web, BCA, MyChart, Carelink/Healthy Planet, Haiku, Rover, Care Everywhere, Home Health, Kuiper, and System Pulse services

  • Participate in routine update and upgrade of Epic system for ECSA components

  • Support of other Epic Windows based applications

  • Create and maintain knowledge base documentation

  • Adhere to standard IT support processes to provide round-the-clock support of Epic Client Systems components, including on-call rotation

  • Collaborate with other functional teams on maintenance and new implementation of third party products

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, research, install, and document infrastructure needs

  • Peer development of team members

  • Assists in the testing of all production services and their supporting systems for redundancy, resilience, and failover to ensure up-time standards and Service Level Agreement (SLA) are fully achieved

  • Develop, test and maintain disaster recovery technologies and procedures.

  • Capability to work independently and self-motivate

  • Additionally, the ECSA should have a strong understanding of Citrix VDI, Cisco UCS Architecture, EMC Storage Arrays and layer 2 and layer 3 concepts.

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

Here is what you need:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Healthcare IT in an Epic Client Systems Administrator role

  • At least one of the following certifications: Epic Client Systems Administrator: Hyperspace and Epic Client Systems Administration: Hyperspace Web, Interconnect, and System Pulse, Epic Client Systems Administrator: BLOB, Business Continuity Access, and Printing, Epic Client Systems Administrator: Care Everywhere, Epic Client Systems Administrator: MyChart

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (12 years) work experience (If an, associate degree with 6 years of work experience)

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
