Job Summary

Facilitates the EEEC II’s interests and activities for process system and solution projects.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Develop System Design including System Architecture

  • Perform I/O to Controller Assignment

  • Define Software Concepts

  • Develop configuration and test guidelines

  • Define third party interfaces (Modbus, Profibus, OPC etc.)

  • Develop SW library (Logic as well as graphics)

  • Develop project specific SW typicals

  • Perform SW Typical Test

  • Design & Develop I/O & base control modules

  • Develop customized logic

  • Develop complex logic

  • Develop graphics

  • Develop Third party interface database/modules

  • Develop Internal test plan

  • Perform Internal testing

  • Implemented Third Party Interface

  • Develop SW FAT plan

  • Develop HW-SW Integration plan

  • Perform Integrated testing between SW & HW

  • Perform FAT with customer

  • Escalate project issues/risk to Lead Engineer/Project Manager with appropriate mitigation plan

  • Support Lead Engineer as Area/sub Lead for medium to large projects

  • Able to lead small team and able to set targets for team members

  • Able to coach and train resources

  • Develop As Built documentation

  • Developed SAT plan

  • Performed SAT at customer location

  • Performed Loop checks at site

  • Performed Start-up & Commissioning support

  • Implemented Bus (Profibus/Fieldbus) interfaces

  • Take full ownership of allocated work and direct subordinates

  • Coach and develop system engineer skills

  • Ready to travel on assignments at various world area locations (Domestic / Global)

  • Prepared Commissioning update reports for customer/internal/management

  • Developed & Maintained commission progress & planning for reporting to higher authorities

  • Performed System handover process to customer & service team

  • Performed punch point clearance at site

  • Expertise is commissioning upto 5000 I/Os for Engineers, upto 10000 I/Os for Sr. Engineers and >10000 I/Os for Lead Engineers

  • Experience in commissioning 3rd party devices like Large Video Screen (LVS), Zone 1 HMIs , CCTVs, F&G System and ESD systems

  • TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Knowledge of PMO Project execution cycle

  • Knowledge of DCS logic/graphic development & testing

  • Knowledge of Programming Languages

  • Knowledge of DCS hardware

  • Knowledge of various third party interfaces and integration method

  • Knowledge of various Bus Systems like Field Bus, ProfiBus, ASI Bus, etc

  • Knowledge on Virtualization & Cyber security

  • Knowledge on Wireless Technologies & Remote sensing NW

  • Ability to recognize and respond to dynamic demands

  • Pragmatic approach to work and work environment

  • Excellent written and verbal skill Programming language

  • Good hands on MS Office knowledge specifically, Ms Word, Excel, Access, powerpoint, Visio etc.

  • Should be able to work in multi cultural virtual environment

  • Team player

  • Can work with minimum supervision

  • Flexible approach to work

  • Good Interpersonal skills

Quality Control & Assurance

  • Implementation of EEEC IMS processes/documentation as & when required throughout the project.

  • Adopts to WA quality requirements and Customer’s regulatory guidelines

  • Practices and promotes First time right approach.

  • Strictly follows GDP (Good Documentation Practices).

  • Perform other additional specific duties, when requested by the business. These will, typically, be strategic in nature but could potentially be anything that the post holder is suitably qualified and experienced to undertake. These duties may be assigned to the person under guidance of a supervisor.

For This Role, You Will Need:

4-8 years of relevant work experience in the field of process control and automation. DCS Design & Commissioning experience in Automation Industry is desired. Preferably worked on Oil & Gas, Refineries, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Petrochemical DCS design & engineering projects.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Must be a bachelor graduate in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunication.
