Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant to join our team in Naples, Florida. As a Staff Accountant, you will be instrumental in maintaining the financial integrity and transparency of our operations. Your expertise in accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations will be essential in carrying out your duties.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the organization's fixed assets in the general ledger.

• Regularly generate accounts payable checks and wire transfers.

• Ensure proper account allocation by reviewing account distribution on vouchers.

• Address vendor inquiries promptly and professionally.

• Compile and analyze financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital.

• Assist in month-end closing procedures and prepare financial statements.

• Reconcile investment accounts to the general ledger monthly.

• Aid in annual budget preparation as needed and prepare other financial reports and documents.

• Perform regular payroll benefit accounts reconciliation and review for proper coding of employee expense reimbursements.

• Ensure safety requirements are observed and report any issues to the supervisor. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations

• Knowledge of General Ledger maintenance

• Ability to prepare and record Journal Entries

• Familiarity with Month End Close processes

• Proficiency in using NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a team and independently

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices

• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
