School Social Worker

As we continue to expand, we immediately seek a driven School Social Worker to join our team for an in-person full-time role in Naperville, IL for the 2023-2024 school year. The chosen SSW will provide support between two Middle Schools, in two Self-Contained classrooms within the district.
Position details:
Full-time, Monday-Friday.
Work between two Middle Schools within the district.
Support students in grades 6th-8th with a variety of eligibilities in two Self-Contained classrooms.
Collaborate and receive support from a School Social Worker, a Service Coordinator, and two Guidance Counselors who also work in this district.
Collaborate with students, colleagues, and families to best support each student's needs.
Attend and participate in IEP assessments, observations, and formal reviews.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Masters in Social Work
Active PEL with School Social Work Endorsement
Prior experience working with elementary ages students as a school-based social worker preferred
