Maintenance Field Manager

What You’ll Do:

• Cultivate a safe and productive environment through example, training, and tracking

• Oversee hands-on training and support of crew employees, including proper operation of equipment, pruning techniques, safety, and quality standards

• Know and carry out client needs and expectations by regular communication with the Account Manager and Production Manager

• Ensure that job site quality and appearance meet client and Franz Witte’s standards

• Work with the Account Manager and Production Manager to identify staffing needs, hire new crew employees, and prepare daily crew schedules

• Implement and enforce Franz Witte’s policies and procedures related to safety, the proper upkeep and maintenance, storage, use, and training required for department equipment

• Monitor and achieve desired company production rates and task hours for each job

• Daily monitor and approve crew timesheets to ensure accuracy and targeted budget progress

• Inspect properties weekly and prepare and implement action plans for needed service items

• Manage all landscape services including people, equipment, material, and subcontractors

• Monitor all aspects of the landscape and identify property safety and plant health problems

• Monitor irrigation systems, identify problems or necessary repairs, adjust or repair as needed and/or communicate recommendations to the appropriate party

• As necessary, perform hands-on work with crews to meet work and scheduling demands

• Manage and assist in snow removal services in the winter as needed.

  Skills We’re Seeking:

• 3+ years’ experience in landscape maintenance

• Good communication in both English and Spanish

• Valid Driver’s License

• Dependable and Enthusiastic

• Desire to Learn and Work Safely as a Team

• Be able to take and give Instruction and Training

• Time and Priority management
