SGI Global, LLC Operations and Recruiting Manager in México D.F., Mexico

SGI Global LLC is seeking fluent Spanish speaking an Operations and Recruiting Manager to support the Department of State, Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) in Mexico City, Mexico.

Join our team as the Operations and Recruiting Manager, a key position within the PMO that significantly contributes to the strategic success of our company. This role is instrumental in shaping our organizational operations and driving recruitment initiatives.

As the Operations and Recruiting Manager, you will play a pivotal role working with senior leadership in overseeing and optimizing our talent acquisition processes and organizational operations. This multifaceted position requires a dynamic individual who can seamlessly navigate between operational responsibilities and strategic recruitment initiatives to ensure the sustained growth and success of our company.

Essential Duties and Functions:

Operational Support:

  • Provide operational support by optimizing processes and workflows to enhance overall efficiency.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address operational challenges and implement solutions.

  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement in day-to-day operations.

  • Analyze and report on key performance metrics related to recruitment and operational efficiency.

  • Work with technical and financial staff to ensure timely and accurate time and attendance management.

  • Liaise with team members to develop and implement nascent operational improvement ideas from start to final implementation.

    Recruiting and Pipeline Management:

  • Develop and execute effective recruiting strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.

  • Conduct thorough candidate assessments, interviews, and evaluations to ensure a high standard of talent.

  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future organizational needs.

  • Implement creative sourcing techniques to attract top-tier talent in a competitive market.

    Curriculum Development:

  • Collaborate with training and development teams to design and implement effective learning programs and assist with the monthly campaigns in coordination with Human Resource department.

  • Identify training needs based on organizational goals and individual employee development plans.

  • Develop and update training materials, ensuring content is current, engaging, and aligned with business objectives.

  • These essential duties and functions collectively contribute to the dynamic role of the Operations and Recruiting Manager, encompassing operational excellence, strategic recruitment, program leadership, and continuous employee development.

  • Provide insight and support the rollout and implementation of employee performance appraisal forms.

    Project Management:

  • Work closely with Program Manager and Deputy Program Manager in the management of company operations.

  • Lead and oversee project initiatives aimed at enhancing organizational effectiveness.

  • Develop and implement program goals, objectives, and success metrics in alignment with company strategy.

  • Monitor program progress, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.

    Qualifications:

  • Position is for Mexican National or Third Party National.

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

  • High level of proficiency in both English and Spanish.

  • Currently has or be willing to obtain a PMP certification.

  • Demonstrated ability to recruit for a broad/deep range of positions.

  • Demonstrated knowledge in all full life cycle recruiting components including, but not limited to sourcing, qualifying candidates, networking, assessing candidates, legal/compliance, job analysis, wage and salary trends, relationship management, and candidate due diligence.

  • Proven ability to maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, searches, hiring managers interactions, and other recruiting activities in the applicant tracking system.

  • Strong understanding of Mexican HR laws, regulations, and best practices.

  • Knowledge of the Mexican government structure, particularly in areas related to Rule of Law, pertaining to justice system, law enforcement, court systems, prisons system, and international relations.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.

  • Excellent project management, writing, and oral communication skills

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.

  • Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of applications and the use of email.

  • Must have the ability to quickly learn systems, processes, and procedures.

  • Lead special projects related to process improvement and organizational development.

    Work Modality:

  • This is a full-time on-site position, based in Mexico City.

  • Occasional travel may be required for events and activities.

  • Flexibility in work hours to accommodate recruitment needs and operational demands.
