Job Title: Material Handler

Job Description

Aerotek is hiring for our client in Mundelein, IL and we have exciting opportunities for Warehouse Material Handlers interested in working a 2nd shift schedule. This role requires prior warehouse experience and experience utilizing specifically the walkie rider and/or stand-up forklift. You will start on a probationary period during which you will not operate equipment immediately but will be engaged in normal picking and stacking tasks. Once trained, you will spend 60-70% of your day on equipment such as an Electric Walkie Rider or stand-up forklift. You will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, processing and separating orders, using an RF scanner to track inventory, and ensuring that products are shipped to the correct locations. Additional responsibilities include stacking boxes on pallets, shrink-wrapping finished products, and staging for shipment.

Shift/Pay:

• Regular shift schedule: Mon-Fri 2pm – 10:30pm (OT until midnight & potential for 6th day Sunday 6am-230pm based off demands)

• Starting pay is $20.50 per hour (All hours over 40hrs within pay period are x1.5)

• Raise after 90 probationary period, and all hours worked after 6pm are an additional $2.00/HR

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Mundelein, Illinois.

Work Environment

The warehouse environment can be hot in the summers and cool in the winters. You are required to wear steel-toed boots or work boots, and blank t-shirts with no graphics. Shorts are allowed. After probationary period, you will receive an additional $2.00/hr for all hours worked after 6 PM and a monthly bonus ranging from $1,000 to $1,500 based on attendance, accuracy, and productivity.
