About the role:

The Senior Strategy Advisor, also known as a "Deal Maker," is a key player on high-impact teams, skilled at building and strengthening strategic customer relationships. This role focuses on aligning customer goals with Iron Mountain’s (IRM) solution suite to support mutual growth. Operating in a global, matrixed environment, the Senior Strategy Advisor collaborates across internal teams, including Account, Digital Operations, Professional Services, and Engineering, to deliver a seamless and impactful sales experience.

What You’ll Do:

This role requires the design and execution of complex analyses to support high-stakes strategic deals and solution development for Iron Mountain’s most critical accounts. The work will involve both qualitative and quantitative research, with a strong focus on strategic insights.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business leaders to identify and accelerate strategy, project management, and key account initiatives across Iron Mountain.

  • Build consensus, define success metrics, prioritize ruthlessly, and manage day-to-day operations across multiple teams to ensure successful outcomes.

  • Leverage storytelling through qualitative/quantitative research, summarizing and presenting results to provide strategic insights.

  • Facilitate ideation workshops with customers to address pain points and develop targeted solutions.

  • Provide intellectual leadership to develop actionable recommendations, identifying gaps, and improving efficiency.

  • Cultivate relationships with Iron Mountain’s leaders, becoming a trusted advisor on strategic decisions.

  • Apply relevant subject matter expertise to drive customer and organizational success.

What Excites Us:

  • 10+ years of experience in deal-making, management consulting, strategy, or operations.

  • Proven experience in leading both strategy formulation and the implementation of complex initiatives.

  • Advanced analytical skills, including the ability to interpret both qualitative and quantitative research to validate hypotheses.

  • Expertise in industry research and competitive analysis, aligning Iron Mountain’s offerings with client objectives.

  • Ability to work autonomously in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to present findings to a diverse audience.

  • Intellectual curiosity with a strong ability to think both tactically and strategically.

  • Ability to lead by influence within a matrixed organization, with a keen attention to detail and follow-through.

Bonus Points For:

  • Advanced proficiency in Google Slides and Sheets.

  • Experience with automation-focused technologies, such as Intelligent Document Processing (IDP).

  • A creative alternative to "you’re on mute" in virtual meetings for your first interview.
