KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Role holder is responsible for managing the execution of projects within the assigned program portfolio. It requires close coordination with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, while ensuring adherence to budget, timelines, and quality standards.

  • Timely product launch using Open Innovation.

  • Navigate OI tollgates ensuring market readiness achieved.

  • Strong technical acumen on key technologies.

  • Partner/Supplier/Alliance selection, evaluation, onboarding.

KEY STAKEHOLDERS AND PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

  • Cross-functional collaboration driving team competence development and project success.

  • Influence team for seamless product launches and business unit growth.

  • OI product launches on time and on spec.

  • Performance of launched OI products on revenue and profitability.

WITHIN YOUR TEAM

You will join the New Product Development and Planning Team. This team is responsible for shaping future product direction, executing product plan and managing sales growth and P&L for product lines. Reporting to the OI Head in the team, you'll work and collaborate closely with associates across departments to ensure seamless delivery.

  • Attention to Detail: Possess a keen eye for detail and a meticulous approach to project execution, ensuring that all aspects of the project are thoroughly reviewed and addressed. Ability to identify potential risks and issues early on and implement proactive measures to mitigate them, thereby ensuring high-quality project outcomes.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A PROFESSIONAL WHO HAS:

  • Proven Experience in Program Management: The ideal candidate should possess a strong track record of success in program management for new product development (NPD), particularly in the context of open innovation initiatives. Experience in overseeing the execution of multiple projects within a program portfolio, from initiation to delivery, is highly desirable.

  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to provide direction and to the cross-functional teams, driving alignment with organizational goals and objectives. The candidate should have the capability to translate business strategies into actionable project plans, ensuring the successful execution and delivery of projects.

  • Effective Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling the candidate to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management, cross-functional teams, partners, suppliers, and alliances. The candidate should have the ability to influence and negotiate to ensure project success and foster collaborative relationships.

  • Integrity and Professionalism: Uphold the highest standards of honesty, integrity, and professionalism in all interactions, demonstrating a commitment to ethical conduct and sound business practices.

YOUR EDUCATION AND BACKGROUND EXPERIENCE WILL INCLUDE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and MBA: The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering coupled with an MBA from an institution. This educational background equips the candidate with a solid foundation in both technical and business disciplines, essential for effective program management and decision-making in product development initiatives.

  • 12-14 years of experience in Program Management: Candidates should have an experience in program management roles, particularly in the context of new product development (NPD) and open innovation initiatives.

  • Proven Track Record in Driving Project Success: The candidate should demonstrate a successful track record of driving project success, including on-time delivery, within budget, and meeting quality standards. Experience in managing cross-functional teams and navigating project environments is essential.
