Job Summary:

The Digitization Expert for Logistics within Procurement will play a pivotal role in transforming traditional logistics and procurement processes into cutting-edge, digitized systems. By leveraging emerging technologies and best practices, the expert will streamline operations, increase efficiency, and enhance data-driven decision-making to ensure optimal resource utilization and cost savings.

• You will be part of our Global Functional Excellence team.

• Digital Transformation Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop a comprehensive digitization strategy for logistics, aligning it with the company's overall business goals.

· Process Optimization: Analyze existing logistics workflows, identifying inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement. Implement digital solutions to streamline processes and reduce manual interventions by automating Logistics Processes with Artificial Intelligence and adopting Robotic Process Automation in Logistics to reduce manual tasks.

• Data Analytics and Insights: Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to gather insights from logistics and procurement data. Generate reports and dashboards to help stakeholders make informed decisions, identify trends, and predict demand. Use Big Data Analytics to Optimize Logistics Operations and enhance Logistics with Predictive Analytics.

• Vendor Management: Collaborate with IT vendors and third-party service providers to select and implement appropriate digitization tools, software, and systems.

• Technology Implementation: Oversee the implementation of digitization projects, including system integrations, data migrations, and user training. Ensure successful adoption and adherence to established protocols.

· Continuous Improvement: Monitor the performance of digital solutions, gather feedback from users, and proactively address issues or make enhancements as required to optimize efficiency and user experience.

• Compliance and Security: Ensure that all digitization efforts comply with our standards, regulations, and data security protocols. Implement measures to safeguard sensitive information and maintain data integrity.

• Change Management: Champion a culture of innovation and digital readiness within the logistics and procurement teams. Facilitate training sessions and workshops to educate employees about new technologies and encourage adoption.

• Market Research: Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in logistics and procurement digitization, sharing insights and proposing new strategies for staying competitive.

• Implementing use of upcoming technologies like Blockchain & Machine Learning for effective logistics management.

Your profile.

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience (5-7 years) in driving successful digitization projects within the logistics or procurement domain.

• Strong understanding of logistics and procurement processes, along with a keen eye for process optimization opportunities.

• Proficiency in data analytics tools and experience in interpreting data to support decision-making.

• Solid project management skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

• Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and lead change management efforts.

• Knowledge of data security and compliance standards within logistics and procurement.
