Key job responsibilities

We are looking for Lead, International Content Marketing to drive 1) marketing of International content launches including Worldwide Amazon Originals, International shows and movies in India; and 2) drive international marketing of Indian Local Originals outside of India in close collaboration with worldwide marketing teams.

• The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience building consumer-facing brands with high emphasis on digital marketing, a proven track record for driving results for direct-to-consumer campaigns, developing plans that leverage data & insights to support decisions, managing external agencies and planning marketing budgets across multiple initiatives and working autonomously to set roadmaps.

• Lead overall content marketing strategy for international titles in India including marketing approach, target audience, positioning, and flawless execution of our content marketing campaigns from conception to launch.

• String together various marketing efforts across channels and platforms into one unified vision that is authentic and seamless.

• Drive worldwide promotions plan of Indian Local Originals with potential appeal to global audiences outside of India; in close partnership with local marketing, international programming and marketing teams.

• Collaborate with global, regional and local stakeholders; to direct and manage development of multiple campaigns.

• Demonstrated success in influencing cross-functional teams, senior stakeholders and leadership across cross functional teams.

• Has ability to quickly innovate, implement, learn through experiments and scale based on learning.

• The candidate will need to have exemplary communication skills (both written and verbal) to drive strategic business recommendations with other marketing leaders and earn trust with colleagues across the business.

• Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements

• Experience guiding creative input, development and execution from concept to completion

• Experience using Microsoft Excel to understand and analyse data

• Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams

• Management degree with work experience across brand building, digital marketing, media planning, and executing successful marketing campaigns.

• Proven track record in large consumer facing businesses. Additionally, digital business experience or content marketing experience will be an advantage.

A day in the life

In a typical day, the person in this role will lead 360 marketing campaigns from strategy to execution and be able to work across global, local, regional stakeholders to deliver on relevant awareness, consideration and viewership of International Prime Video shows & movies.

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

  • Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams

  • Experience communicating results to stakeholders

  • Experience guiding creative input, development and execution from concept to completion

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in strategic marketing management and market analysis and demonstrated ability to build and execute a strategy with clear goals and objectives to align to business and service objectives, and support portfolio objectives

  • Experience working cross-functionally with partner teams to drive adoption and usage of brand assets and messaging

  • MBA
