Responsibilities

Program Design

  • Recognizes patterns in benefits issues, workflow disruptions, and design concerns, and suggests solutions.

  • Identifies business needs, compliance requirements, internal processes, payment systems, and existing legislation for several parts of a benefits programs. Utilizes insights from CRM, employee escalations, and operational gaps.

  • Develops materials to communicate proposed changes related to benefits programs.

Program Implementation

  • Fosters relationships and collaborates with internal teams (e.g., HR Services) by leveraging current expertise to implement plans and share materials throughout the design, launch, and ongoing management of the benefits program. Offers support through reviewing frequently asked questions (FAQs), participating in testing efforts, identifying gaps, etc.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to explore any red flags or dependencies that might hinder implementation timelines.

  • Work with supporting teams within the ecosystem and use CRM metrics to inform and provide insights on necessary design changes in our programs.

  • Evaluates and revises implementation and readiness materials for various components of a benefits program.

Program management

  • Reviews information and responds to inquiries regarding policy, tools, technology issues, or web content from stakeholders.

  • Ensures that benefits programs adhere to compliance standards by integrating Microsoft's philosophy, policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory and governmental requirements into program management and implementation.

  • Identifies and escalates compliance risks arising from legal obligations. Updates and reviews resources (e.g., web content, toolkits) to ensure ongoing compliance. Supports regular evaluations of business and employee needs and conducts analyses to determine program requirements.

Supplier selection and management

  • Evaluates and tracks supplier data as well as employee experiences, identifying trends. Recognizes delivery issues from suppliers and proactively addresses operational gaps with internal teams (e.g., HR Services, Payroll).

  • Collaborates with support teams within the ecosystem and leverages CRM metrics to offer insights on necessary design changes in our programs.

  • Responsible for reviewing the budget of our benefits programs and ensuring timely review of purchase orders.

  • Collaborates with our outsourced service group on payment escalations supporting suppliers ensuring no disruption on program delivery.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience in HR, Benefits or related role

  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Social Sciences, or related field AND equivalent experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing Benefit programs or Benefits delivery programs.

  • Project management.

  • Proven experience in identifying opportunities, devising strategies, and executing sourcing and negotiation of complex engagements and contracts.

  • Proven capability to successfully handle multiple internal partner and supplier relationships.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and collaboratively across various functions both externally and internally.

  • Analytical skills to extract data from different sources, draw conclusions, and translate those into clear opportunities and actions.

  • Ability to drive clarity and deliver results in a fast-paced and highly matrixed environment.

  • Customer-focused, responsive, and action-oriented, demonstrating urgency as needed to meet business requirements.
