As a Consulting Account Executive (Consulting AE) , you will have the opportunity to drive digital technology transformation in our Enterprise Commercial sales segment, where we take care of the Top S500 customers in different industries. You will lead the Microsoft Industry Solutions sales account strategy for your customers and develop and win digital transformation opportunities, leveraging our large, multi-functional Industry Solutions team across the breadth of the Microsoft solutions portfolio, engage at the most senior levels of your customers and bring industry-relevant solutions to help the customers adopt and embrace digital technologies. This role will give you the opportunity to leverage your customer and partner network and sales experience to execute against your customer’s account plan.

Responsibilities

Strategy and Planning:

Contributes to the account vision and strategic approach, provides insights and recommendations, aligns with the One Microsoft strategy and Consulting catalogue go-to-market solution plays, and develops a deliberate approach to position potential modernization and digital transformation outcomes.

Relationship Management:

Owns and maintains customer and partner relationships, influences key decision makers, leads effective rhythms of connection, anticipates and resolves issues and risks, facilitates CXO connections, and drives deeper customer engagement.

Accelerate Cloud Growth:

Proactively builds and maintains up-to-date knowledge of customer's business priorities, industry challenges, and trends, leverages Microsoft Consulting go-to-market scenarios to drive intentional customer conversations about Microsoft Cloud adoption, and identifies, qualifies, leads, manages, and closes strategic industry cloud opportunities.

Account Team Orchestration:

Orchestrates the consulting-sales relationship with the core account team, collaborates with Enterprise colleagues, customer success team, service team, and the Consulting account team, and brings the best resources to ensure customer success and satisfaction.

Deal Excellence:

Ensures deal excellence by confirming and challenging customer's BANT information, building and executing close plans, negotiating terms and conditions, securing formal signing of contract, and tracking the Azure impact of the delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree OR equivalent experience.

  • experience in sales/selling with account management experienceand driving digital transformation.

  • project/portfolio management experience.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Fluency in both German and English is mandatory for this role. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively in both languages in various professional settings.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse data, identify trends, and develop strategic solutions.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events.

Additional Qualification:

  • industry sales experience in one of the main Enterprise Commercial vertical (e.g. Automotive/Manufacturing, Retail/TMPS) industry or related services track record.

  • deep acumen of consulting, advisory, sales methodologies.
