The Software Engineer II role is in Medical Imaging AI team where we are productizing next generation of health visual

foundational models. You will get to learn from the thought leaders in this problem space, use latest engineering tools to build world class products that ship in Azure.

Responsibilities

We are looking for passionate people with experiences working with all service aspects of high throughput

and multi-tenant services, ability to design components carefully, properly handle errors, write clean and

well-factored code with good tests and good maintainability.  

Responsibilities include:

• Partner with Program Management, customers, Data Scientists and other stakeholders to define

requirements, scope projects and validate solutions 

• Design, implement, ship, and maintain features and services 

• Support customers and live site in a DevOps model 

• Build for security, privacy, scalability, and compliance 

• Lead others by exemplifying technical excellence, inclusiveness, teamwork, and customer focus 

• Learn healthcare industry standards and unique customer needs

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years of experience building and maintaining large scale cloud service

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with .NET, C# and associated toolsets / frameworks 

  • Experience developing cloud services on Azure/AWS/GCP or other cloud platforms.

  • Understanding of cloud security and security fundamentals.

  • Experience with Kubernetes

  • Experience with technology and/or standards in the healthcare industry

Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $98,300 - $193,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $127,200 - $208,800 per year.
