Job Description

Teledyne Microwave Solutions has over 50 years of experience in the design, development, and manufacture of sophisticated microwave/RF components and integrated assemblies for the most demanding challenges. We are hiring a Calibration Support Administrator that will have the following responsibilities:

Equipment Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing monthly calibration recall lists showing required scheduled calibrations by department

  • Manage active pieces of calibrated test equipment, ensuring that equipment is calibrated in accordance with scheduled calibration requirements.

  • Manage inactive equipment inventory, keeping inventory available and clearly marked for use if required.

  • Responsible for maintaining all calibration records

  • Responsible for assisting with Internal and External Audits

  • Work with calibration leads to determine if equipment requires deactivation.

  • Work with calibration leads to locate missing equipment.

  • Track out of tolerance equipment and investigate when required to determine if risk exists to existing product.

  • Manage shortened calibration cycles of repaired equipment

  • Extend calibration cycles if needed and allowed

  • Work with offsite vendors to repair equipment when required.

  • Work with departments to help locate/rent or purchase new or refurbished equipment as required.

  • Work with Managers and Supervisors as required to help establish CAPEX needs

  • Assist with maintenance of Calibration related procedures.

  • Work requires moderate lifting.

Test System Responsibilities

  • Ensure systems are operated and maintained in accordance with security policies and procedures as outlined in the security plan.

  • Verify that system security documentation is current and accessible to properly authorized

  • Formally notify the ISSM of any changes to a system that could affect authorization.

  • Ensure user activity monitoring data is analyzed, stored, and protected in accordance with the ITPSO policies and procedures.

  • Other assignments assigned as required

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience with calibration software and database management

  • Familiarity with NIST, ANSI Z540-1 and ANSI Z540.3

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role

  • Must be able to acquire a Security Clearance

Salary Range:

$49,830.00-$66,550.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
