Based out of rural upstate New York, HW Naylor has served our global customers with reliable and affordable veterinary products like Dr. Naylor's Dehorning Paste, Hoof N' Heel, Blu-Kote, Red Kote, Udder Balm, and Teat Dilators for nearly 100 years.Responsibilities:- Responsible for maintaining Quality Control of incoming raw material testing and finished goods.- Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis.- Develop and optimize chemical processes for product development- Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and quality control standards- Analyze and interpret data, prepare reports, and present findings to quality manager and owner.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support research projects and achieve project goals.- Maintain laboratory equipment, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance.-Develop various methods and specifications.-Write company SOPs.Qualifications:- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemistry or a related field- Strong knowledge of analytical chemistry principles and techniques.- Experience with wet chemistry, UV-VIS spectrophotometer, HPLC- Familiarity with FDA CFR, cGMP, GLP guidelines and quality control procedures.- Proficiency in scientific research methodologies and data analysis.- Excellent critical thinking skills and attention to detail.- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.- Strong written and verbal communication skills.We're thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a chemist experienced in wet and analytical chemistry to become part of our legendary company.
