Pilgrim's pride Shipping Clerk - Night Shift in Moorefield, West Virginia
The Shipping Fresh Clerk is responsible for preparing the bill of lading and all support documentation for all product being shipped. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Verify that schematics and all support documents on all outgoing loads are accurate.
- Must possess above average math and communications skills.
- Ensure that all outgoing load information from drivers is correct at check in and that they receive the proper documents and that all signatures are recorded when checking out.
- Ensure that temperatures are recorded on all required documents and that the proper set point is recorded on the drivers envelope
- Coordinate receiving manifest for all products received.
- Must have a great attendance record.
- Must be able to perform office type duties such as answer telephone, use computer, and copy/printer.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, grasp, pull, and twist.
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
- Must train back-up to fill in when on vacation, etc
- Print order Pick sheets for shipping to use as a guide during the loading process
- Take and document order changes from the Production office.
- Keep all manual and computer logs current and complete necessary filing.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Clerical experience preferred.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
