Eaton Corporation Strategic Account Director in Moon Township, Pennsylvania

Eaton Corporation's Electrical Sector is currently seeking a Strategic Accounts Director. This position can be based in Moon Township, PA or be a fully remote role.

Position Overview:

Reporting to the VP Strategic Accounts, this person will be directly responsible for profitable growth and to coordinate regional resources for developing a profound understanding of the assigned accounts business goals and corporate governance. This person will also lead decision making process, CapEx & OpEx, competitive positioning and executive & senior level relationship management to position Eaton as a high valued partner trusted partner and vendor of power management technologies.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Identify, maintain and grow profitable business through cross enterprise coordination with all of Eaton’s businesses and segments to ensure a cohesive approach for targeted customers

• Develop financial and strategic commercial sales plans that align to product divisions that results in a coordinated selling effort to exceed annual sales goals and objectives

• Account relationship management involving account resources at appropriate decision-making level with titles up to and including C-level executives

• Ownership of the strategic account management process on a global basis; establishing a comprehensive customer strategy that achieves alignment to Eaton strategies

• Key focal point for all strategic opportunities across assigned accounts geographical footprint

• Work with technical sales engineers, regional sales managers and proposals teams within assigned region, to develop value propositions and proposals for Eaton’s end to end product, service and digital solutions

• Provides customer interface strategy to build strong support with decision makers.

• Develop and manages customer relationship at all levels within the customers organization. Proactively engages Eaton leadership to effectively manage an Eaton relationship strategy

• Lead and drive both CapEx and OpEx opportunity identification, pursuit and closure - involving applicable Products, Systems, Solutions and Services.

• Lead, develop and manage key account negotiations – standing agreements or transactional, including Terms & Conditions, Master Supply Agreements, Pricing, Service Level Agreements

• Provide specific Voice of Customer feedback to appropriate product, system, solution and service business leaders – for future product development, quality, modification and customer satisfaction

Qualifications:

Position Criteria:

• Proven leadership skills, detail-oriented, high level of integrity, strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Able to work well with people across multiple functions, strong communication and presentation skills

• Thorough knowledge of electrical products, software, digital solutions/offerings, and competitive products

• Proven experience setting and executing a sales strategy in a high-growth environment and/or start-up environment

• Understanding of electrical industrial market relationships

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Sales and Marketing

• Minimum 5 years of experience in field sales management

• Authorized to work in the US on a continuous basis without company sponsorship

Education:

• An undergraduate degree from an accredited institution is required

• An Advanced degree is preferred

Compensation:

• Eaton recognizes this role as a critical position within the corporation and will create a compelling package consisting of a base salary, employee incentive compensation and complete benefits.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $144000.0 - $211200.0 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
