ManpowerGroup Procurement Global Process Owner in Montgomery, New Jersey

Our client, in consumer goods and services is seeking a Global Process Owner to join their team. In this role, you will be part of the Procurement team responsible for introducing new processes, identifying and implementing process improvements, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies, and collaborating with stakeholders to drive procurement efficiencies

Location: Central NJ, office moving to Summit NJ in the next year

Schedule: 3x on site per week, 2 wfh

Pay Range: $80 - $90/hr W2 Can can not work 1099/C2C on this role

What’s the Job?

  • The Global Process Owner - Procurement is responsible for overseeing and optimizing procurement processes on a global scale.

  • Stakeholder Management· Understand the needs and requirements of functional and regional stakeholders and ensure the process aligns with their expectations.

  • Process Design & Documentation· Design and define the specific steps and activities involved in the process, including documentation of the process flow, inputs, outputs, and user roles & responsibilities;· Collaborate with GPOs in other functions to ensure integration and alignment of inter-dependent processes.

  • Change Management, Training and Communication· Ensure that process users are aware of and understand their roles within the process;· Organize and/or support training sessions;· Address any questions or concerns from stakeholders and process users.

  • Performance, Compliance & Governance· Monitor the performance (effectiveness and efficiency) of the process by using KPIs, and implement corrective actions as appropriate;· Implement process automatization and digitalization, with the support of DTO and IT functions;· Work with the wider Procurement Center of Excellence team to ensure coherence between process, policy and governance.

What’s Needed?

**Should have extensive external manufacturing experience (in Consumer and/or pharma ideally) ideally in Procurement, project mgt and process improvement and lead him/herself projects to improve these processes within Procurement.

· Business Process Management experience evidenced through a process ownership role, delivery of a process transformation project, or similar experience.

· Category subject matter expertise acquired in a category management role or similar experience.

· Exceptional problem solving and modeling skills; ability to navigate complexity; can synthesize and analyze data to create useful information and concise analysis.

· Excellent relationship building, communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.

· Experience with implementation and/or use of systems such as SAP, Ariba, Coupa, Keelvar, Opus Capita, Jaegger.

· Ability to work with tight deadlines and comfortable dealing with ambiguity in environments of transformation and change; comfortable making decisions with incomplete data and conflicting objectives.

· Minimum of 8 years of experience in procurement in an international environment, with at least 5 years in a leadership role and/or 5 years in a process development / procurement excellence role.

· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

· Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) in English

Desired Qualifications

· Project Management certification.

· Additional spoken languages.

· Experience with process mining tools (e.g. Celonis) and process documentation tools (e.g. Visio, iGrafx).

· People leadership experience.
