We are looking for Technicians with similar traits to join our legendary team onsite and remotely in Monroeville, PA to support patients and pharmacists alike and do whatever needs to be done for the needs of the business.

The Starting pay for this position is $17/hr. and may be subject to increase based on years of experience, or the addition of an active National Pharmacy Technician License. Schedule will be Monday through Thursday from 10AM-8:30PM EST.

You should be motivated, organized, detail-oriented and have excellent communication skills along with the ability to learn new operating systems, pharmacology, and medical technology. In this role you will be responsible for:

• Accurately reading, interpreting, and entering prescriptions into the computer system, calculation of doses, and assignment of directions

• Routing incomplete or unclear prescriptions to the prescriber for clarification

• Must also be able to enter incomplete prescription information once clarification is obtained

• Engaging with the prescriber's office to obtain prescriptions/prescription refills

• Fill medication orders accurately and efficiently using the in-house system• Accurate counting of medications utilizing a manual process as well as automated counters• Assist the pharmacist with scanning and labeling of special program medication orders in the bulk area

• Collaborating with a diverse teamRequired Qualifications

• 6 months of work experience as a pharmacy technician

• 6 months work experience in Windows-based applications like Windows, Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications

• Computer keyboarding skills and aptitude

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for the duration of a shiftPreferred Qualifications

• Healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, and prescriptions

• Medical billing, coding, and other medical assisting roles

• National Certification (CPhT)

• Customer Service experience in an office environmentEducation

H.S. Diploma or equivalent

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$17.00 - $27.90

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
