Aggreko Regional Financial Controller (Europe North) in Moerdijk, Netherlands

We’re looking for a Financial Controller to join the business in Moerdijk to support the Europe North Business. The postholder will be responsible for ensuring the sound operation of the Region’s finance function, providing oversight for retained transactional finance activities as well as facilitating the ongoing operation of BPO led transactions, and will lead the RFC, the payroll and credit control team.
What you’ll do:
Lead the Record to Report accountants, Payroll and credit control team,
Will be the Group Treasury point of contact, to coordinate bank management including cash flow management/forecasting, Insurance main point of contact
Act as the conduit between the retained organisation finance team and the BPO provider, ensuring that the teams work collaboratively as “one team” to ensure that SLA’s/KPI’s are delivered in line with contractual arrangements.
Act as the first point of escalation and resolution for all BPO escalated queries which have not been resolved as per the regular service management framework.
Act as the first point of escalation from the retained finance organisation and business for all issues / queries raised of the BPO which have not been resolved as per the regular service management framework.
Attend service delivery management governance meetings as required, ensuring that BPO provider are kept updated of business changes/updates.
Contribute to other governance forums as required to raise challenges experienced or improvement opportunities identified in order that local innovation can be harnessed for the wider good.
You’ll have the following skills and experience:
Relevant professional finance qualification (CA, ACA, CPA, MBA or country equivalent).
Strong work experience within master data management and governance.
Experience managing a team of finance professionals.
Exhibit strong organizational courage, exceptional interpersonal skills and must motivate, inspire and lead.
Strong leadership and change management skills.
Process improvement and systems innovation experience.
Change agent mentality.
Ability to influence.
