Vital Images Inc Project Manager - Clinical Validation in Minnetonka, Minnesota

POSITION OVERVIEW We are looking for a talented and inquisitive Project Manager to join our team at Canon Medical! In this role you will oversee and support project lifecycles for Canon Medical's clinical validation initiatives. This includes presenting proposals, collaborating in contract negotiations, overseeing study designs and execution, and completing required regulatory submissions materials. This is an opportunity to collaborate with internal teams, and external sites to ensure clinical validation initiatives achieve success in their objectives. RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborate with internal teams and external sites to develop and execute a comprehensive project plan, including defining project goals, objectives, deliverables, and timelines Maintain organization and oversight of multiple clinical validation projects concurrently Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders to identify and propose solutions to resolve roadblocks that could affect the success of a project Collaborate with the Director, Clinical Research and Development to identify and negotiate contracts with external sites and clinicians to participate in the validation studies Conduct project meetings, generate meeting minutes and action items, while maintaining and communicating accurate and up-to-date project documentation Conduct additional meetings as needed with internal and external teams, including site visits Participate as an individual contributor in various aspects of the project, including but not limited to: Preparing hardware or cloud infrastructure needed for the study, as well as installing/configuring the software Training personnel on the use of the software and the study protocol, providing ongoing support, and troubleshooting complications. Collecting, anonymizing, storing, and organizing data Actively engage in learning opportunities to enhance knowledge of project management and clinical validation processes QUALIFICATIONS & OTHER REQUIREMENTS Required Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience 2+ years of Project Manager, Project Coordinator, Project Assistant, or equivalent, experience Experience managing multiple complex projects with competing timelines Experience working with Jira, Confluence, or other collaboration tools Curiosity and a desire to learn how our products are built, deployed, and used Strong problem-solving skills Preferred Hands-on technical skills related to software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting Experience with funded research projects Experience working in a clinical environment, including radiology Experience working with standalone clinical software (PACS, Advanced Visualization and clinical imaging applications) Experience with managing projects in the software medical device industry Experience with managing regulatory requirements and documentation JOB COMPETENCIES Project Management: Establishes project goals, milestones, and procedures, defines roles and responsibilities, acquires project resources, coordinates projects throughout company, monitors project progress, manages multiple projects.
