Robert Half is currently hiring a Somali Bilingual Receptionist to join a nonprofit school based in Minneapolis. This is a full-time on-site position and we offer a competitive wage of up to $23 per hour based on experience.

As the first point of contact, this essential role ensures smooth office administration and offers excellent customer service to students, families, guests, and staff.

Key Duties:

• Answer and direct phone calls professionally

• Greet all visitors courteously

• Assist in maintaining a professional front office

• Coordinate and manage parent and school communications

• Manage guest and staff appointments

• Work with courtesy, tact, and diplomacy and maintain a welcoming office environment

  Requirements

Requirements:

• High School diploma

• Excellent Somali and English language skills

• Basic clerical skills and knowledge of office practices involving standard office equipment including a computer, copier, and fax

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Doc, and Outlook

• Strong organization skills including the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

• Flexibility and adaptability towards last-minute changes

• Must pass a local criminal history check
