Job Description
Join the team transforming Activity-Based Costing for Enabling Functions at U.S. Bank. In this role, you will partner with Finance subject-matter experts to support the refresh of Costing studies and monthly costing operations including performance reporting, forecast, budget and costing true-up. You will also work directly with U.S. Bank Management Reporting Operations (MRO) to leverage technology to develop actionable reporting and dashboard analytics.
Responsibilities
Support Activities Based Costing operations and production via tools including Workday Cost and Profitability Management (CPM), PRISM, Strategic Cost Intelligence (SCI) and Oracle applications OFSAA and Essbase
Support system integration testing, functional end-to-end testing and user acceptance testing
Manage data intake including any statistically derived metrics or benchmarks utilizing the Finance Data Warehouse (FDW). Secure and automate new data requirements for cost models and revenue sharing / shadow accounting programs
Maintain mappings for dashboards and systems. Act as an SME for Cost Recovery Ledger as well as post allocated data and integration into existing Management Reporting Ecosystem
Identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency and enable sustainable business growth, including incorporation of methodology updates to various processes
Develop/maintain compliance and control, cost documentation, policies and procedures, inventory and catalog services rendered in accordance with U.S. Bank standard governance requirements
Support any monthly/quarterly/annual reporting needs for post allocated data (Service Invoice, Segment footnote, etc.). Present data and insights in visual format
Liaison with Management Reporting Operations and Technology regarding system enhancements, upgrades, new data/volume requirements
Location Expectations
The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
Typically five or more years of related experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, engineering, information systems, or mathematics
Five or more years of relevant experience in Financial Services, financial planning and strong knowledge of business lines, products, operations, and technology
Experience in the functional support of Workday PRISM and Workday Cost and Profitability Manager (CPM)
Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint. Proficiency in Power BI.
Experience with Oracle Financial Applications (Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA, Hyperion/Essbase)
Ability to analyze, interpret and translate data into insights and recommendations, and package and present projections, and trends in an executive format
Strong communication skills and ability to communicate and interact effectively with cross functional key stakeholders and leadership teams to deliver insightful analyses and actionable recommendations
Demonstrated problem solving skills, especially in a fast-paced environment.
Detail oriented with a proven ability to meet deadlines

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $102,340.00 - $120,400.00 - $132,440.00
