One of Robert Half’s top clients has an opening for a Security Engineer in Minneapolis, MN! This position will be hybrid between 2-3 days onsite per week.

Duration: 1 year

Pay: $41.00 hourly on W2

Job description:

This team is responsible for the deployment upkeep and day-to-day operations of 12 security tools that cover the client globally. They address issues caused by our security tools as they are brought to us in a help desk style workflow. They plan and execute both agent upgrades on the thousands of endpoints at Best Buy as well as keep our platforms up to date.

Project Description:

The contractor would mainly be focused on password rotations certificate rotations and renewals for our security tool platforms level 1 help desk troubleshooting across the various security tools potentially helping with security tool agent deployments if the day-to-day tasks are completed.

Position Summary/Job Description:

This role would be assisting the Security Operations team in the day-to-day tasks of security tool console management password rotations addressing level 1 tickets via Service Now or JIRA applying security patches to both the application and the server as they are identified and helping to create and/or edit internal wiki articles as needed and in relation to the work completed.
