Robert Half is seeking a Controller for a well established and growing company in Minneapolis. This Controller position will be responsible for daily accounting duties including, general ledger, month end close, AP/AR, financials, managing a team of 2 direct reports and working closely with senior leadership. The ideal candidate for this Controller position will have a 5-8+ years experience in a Controller or management level position. This opportunity offer hybrid flexibility. After a training period this role can work remote 2-3 days a week and in some instances fully remote on certain weeks. Requirements - Skilled in the construction and delivery of effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds

• Past work in technology, analytics and management experience highly valued

• Exemplary analytical, quantitative and social skills

• Quality experience with account reconciliation

• QuickBooks experience

• Well-founded grasp of month end closings

• Accounts Payable (AP) experience

• Accounts Receivable (AR) experience

• Expertise in Microsoft Excel

• Proven knowledge of general ledger

• General familiarity with Financial Statement

• Journal entries experience highly desired

• Practical knowledge of bank reconciliations

• Great attention to detail

• CPA or MBA preferred

• Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines

• Excellent oral and written communications skills

• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business related field

• Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems

• Prior work done in public accounting is desired

• Progressive accounting experience, including as a Controller preferred

• Ability to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent, and to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment
