REXNORD Logistics Coordinator III Import Export in MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Summary: Reporting to the Logistics Supervisor, the Logistics Coordinator III will work with international customers, distributors, and representatives by serving as primary point of contact regarding the import and export shipment process. This role will be responsible for managing the overall logistics and compliance process for customers with both import and export shipments. The ideal candidate for this role will demonstrate a high level of critical thought and showcase an ability to complete a varying degree of tasks with a high sense of urgency. They will also handle all miscellaneous international customer requests. We are seeking a forward-thinking associate with problem solving and critical thinking skills, as well as some degree of operational excellence. This is a hybrid role and therefore candidates must be self-directed and have demonstrated success with limited leadership supervision. Major Responsibilities: Manages the customer shipment process for assigned international and export accounts from shipment readiness until delivery at destination. Assist external and internal customers with the international shipment process. Responsible for building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions with a continuous improvement mindset. Works with internal partners (Credit, Planning, Shipping, etc....) to drive resolution on customer-impacting issues. Works with internal teams with a high sense of accountability and urgency. Prepares & ensurse accuracy of export documentation as required by country, such as but not limited to, commercial invoice, packing list, government certificates, and provide AES filings. Provides support in trade automation for sales order and shipment holds. Receives and responds to inbound telephone calls and web/email inquiries from international customers, freight forwarders, field sales and plant personnel, representing Regal Rexnord in a positive way. Interacts with freight forwarders, carriers, brokers as well as internal field and administrative personnel to provide logistics process insight and support. Dedication to overserve \'A\' customers leveraging Regal Rexnords 80-20 approach. Successfully meets all KPI\'s for the role and actively support the broader team to achieve theirs. Collaborates cross-functionally to drive resolution/shipment on open order reports. Successfully execute additional duties as assigned by manager. Required Education / Experience / Skills: High School diploma required. College degree preferred. 4-5 Years of related work experience in Import/Export field with general knowledge and skill with International Logistics. Knowledge of US export rules and regulations, free trade agreements, Incoterms, and international banking documents. Strong Communication / Influencing skills...
