Robert Half Human Resources (HR) Manager in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Description

We are seeking a dedicated Interim Human Resources Manager to join our team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role focuses on planning, implementing, and managing all HR programs and projects. As a key collaborator with Senior Leadership, you will be responsible for administering HR policies, processes, and functionalities across various areas including employment, HRIS, compensation, benefits, recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, training, and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely and accurate execution of all HR-related functions.

• Execute recruitment strategy and manage internal efforts and external recruiter relationships.

• Oversee the new employee onboarding process.

• Work with leadership to evaluate company benefits, including managing the annual benefits renewal process.

• Conduct periodic compensation survey research and collaborate with leadership to ensure competitive pay.

• Provide HR expertise and support to department leaders in recruitment, employment law, performance management, and employee relations.

• Ensure tracking and timely completion of required corporate trainings.

• Monitor and maintain compliance with employment laws where applicable.

• Lead employee engagement, surveying, and other activities fostering a positive workplace culture.

• Offer recommendations to leadership on HR strategy and process improvements aligned with the company mission.

• Present HR key performance indicators and recommendations to leadership as requested.

• Manage and mentor the HR staff, setting goals, and providing ongoing training.

• Manage the departmental budget.

Requirements • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of Human Resources.

• Proficiency in managing Benefit Functions is crucial.

• Experience in Compensation Administration is required.

• Compliance knowledge and understanding are essential.

• Proven skills in Employee Relations are needed.

• Must be proficient in using Paychex and Excel Formulas.

• Collaboration skills are a must to work effectively with different teams.

• Should have a consultative approach to handle HR issues.

• Creative Problem Solving skills are required.

• Must be capable of Conflict Resolution to manage disagreements in the organization.
