JOB SCOPE AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

By joining the EMEA Maintenance Team, you will work with various internal and external stakeholders like General Services, Asset Protection, HSE, as well as representatives from the Purchasing, Events teams, technical consultants, maintainers, etc.

Misson is to keep in perfect condition the company’s buildings in Milan, made by high level finishing and very sensible as they are our Head Quarters, with a very responsive service level and keeping costs in control.

Reporting to the Head of Store Maintenance EMEA, you will be responsible for managing, coordinating and controlling, at the EssilorLuxottica Italia buildings, scheduled ordinary maintenance activities, extraordinary reactive/corrective maintenance interventions and projects for the repair/replacement/upgrade of equipment and systems such as: electrical (MV and LV) and lighting, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection and prevention, BMS, lifts and hoists, false ceiling panels, flooring, coverings, windows, doors, automatic doors, gates, turnstiles, building roofing and related insulation, painting, blacksmithing, plumbing, window and plasterboard work, maintenance of kitchen and bar equipment, etc.

In doing this, you will represent the point of contact with our suppliers for monitoring the execution of their operational activity and for requesting and verifying estimates for extraordinary activities, also interfacing with our Admins for the insertion of the RdA relating to them.

You will also be the first point of contact for management and use of our ticketing/helpdesk system, used for reporting problems from our buildings and for related reporting and consequent improvement analyses.

Coordinating and collaborating with the Tortona Building Coordinator and with the on-site technician(s), you will be responsible for managing priorities and planning and verifying daily site visits to be conducted inside the buildings, aimed at verifying the correct functioning of the equipment and systems, as well as detecting any anomalies relating to furnishings, bathroom fixtures, carpets, cleaning and consumables, coffee and drink dispensing machines, vending machines, etc.

By coordinating maintenance activities, you will have to verify that they are carried out in compliance with legal requirements, deadlines and periodicity, internal planning (PPM), expected execution times and budgets, as well as SLA/ KPIs internal and/or contractually agreed with our suppliers.

Furthermore, acting as Internal Technical Coordinator and Person in Charge pursuant to Legislative Decree 81/2008, you will ensure that all maintenance and facilities activities provided at EssilorLuxottica Italia buildings are always carried out in compliance with current regulations and any further internal policies and procedures.

EXTERNAL : technical consultants, suppliers, external mainteners, Third Parties (ie. External auditors), etc.

TECHNICAL SKILLS - PORTRAIT OF A PERFECT CANDIDATE

  • Educational Background in Engineering, Architecture, Master's Degree in Building Management, Master in Facility Management, or previous experience in the management of Maintenance and/or Facility services.

  • At least 10 years of experience in Maintenance/Facility Management activities in multinational companies

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Management of priorities

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to work in a team and coordinate workers

  • Hourly flexibility

  • Relational and listening skills

  • Solid experience with MS Office 365 package; AutoCAD package: nice to have

  • Italian: Fluent

  • English: Nice to have
